From the 1917 diary of Olga Romanov:
Count Zamoisky. Saturday. 28th January. Directly to the infirmary, we 2. Wrote, made the beds and distributed medications, etc. Popov will be getting weight extensions. Unexpectedly, came over: Irakliy Vachiadze, Kikiadze, Kasyanov, Chernyatsov (from Yevpatoria) and Adamka. As usual noisy, charming and cheerful. Bibi wrote with him to Mitya. Ate altogether. Walked with Papa, 2 [degrees] of frost. Later he dug at the tower, while we 4 came to the ruins with skis and raced around the garden. Tumbled down constantly, of course. After tea at Al.[eksei]’s, cinematograph, and after that with Papa to vsenoshnaya. Mama [came] later. Count Zamoisky had dinner. After that, Shvybz and I rode in the sleigh […]. Papa assembled a puzzle. After 11 o’clock to bed. Yesterday before dinner we rode in the troika with Shura.
