On this page I would like to spotlight a wonderful book about an extended member of the Romanov family. The book had been released a few years ago but for the most part it has flown under the radar. EMPRESS ALEXANDRA’S RING

Tsarina Alexandra’s ring

This ring belonged to Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. It was presented to her in 1914 by an officer from her own 5th Hussar  Alexandria Regiment.   The skull and bones  (Adam’s head) was the emblem of the regiment and symbol of immortality in pre-Revolutionary Russia.
