The film was released in 1917, BEFORE the execution of the Romanov family. Nance O’Neill starred as Empress Alexandra, Alfred Hickman as Tsar Nicholas II and Edward Connelly as Rasputin.

The Fall of the Romanoffs (1917)  This film was released in New York City on September 6, 1917.
