From the 1917 diary of Olga Romanov:

Petrovsky. Tuesday. 21st  February.   Was lying down until after 12 o’clock, had breakfast in bed; until after dinner in the Red Room, around 2 o’clock Elena came over and sat for a bit. She was in Elisavetgrad, Voznesensk and Odessa. Saw the Serbian refugees and the division. After that, Polyakov. Papa stopped by before his walk. Mama sat until 4 o’clock when AlekKonst. and Viktor came. We sat together until 5 ½ o’clock, so nice and cozy. Talked a lot. Shurik is going to Mogilev with Papa tomorrow. T˚ 36,3- 37,1 – 36,9 ¾ –   Bibi received a lovely, nice letter from Mitya. [Ilegible] Tat.[iana] does not go to the infirmary, we are quarantined this week due to the measles, which Lyolya Makarov was ill with.  In the evening Mama and Papa came by. Anya too.
