From the 1915 diary of Tatiana Romanov:

Monday, 23 March. In the morning went to obednya. Then there was a procession of the cross around the church. Breakfast 5 with Papa, Mama and Uncle Pavel. At 2 o’clock went to the Grand Palace for Easter greetings of the suite and soldiers. Mama took turns with Olga giving out eggs, and I helped. Dmitri was there. Then went downstairs to the infirmary, where Mama gave eggs to the officers. Nikolai Pavlovich was upstairs. Had tea with Papa and Mama. Then Olga and I drove to [see] Tatiana in Pavlovsk. The Yerivantzy Teriev with his wife and Snarsky were there, but they soon left. Then [I] sat with Tatiana, Olga played with Teimuraz. Then went down for a moment to [see] Aunt and Uncle. Dinner with Mama and Papa at Grandmama’s. Spoke on the telephone with Karangozov and Shalva Vachnadze. Saw a wounded volunteer at the Grand Palace, Archil Djordjadze, Tina-Tina’s brother.
